And So It Begins...

So, I’m a blog stalker. It’s pathetic, but true. I absolutely LOVE reading other people’s blogs. I could honestly waste hours looking at blogs. And so, I figure that maybe, just maybe, there is someone else out there who is like me, and who will read about my life. For anyone who is reading this, I must warn you that my life is not exciting. But, I figure that I’ll put my thoughts about life out there and maybe someone will be able to relate to them.
I’m a 19 year-old sophomore at California Baptist University. I absolutely love it. I’m a pre-nursing major, which isn’t always easy, but I still love it. I work for Undergraduate Admissions, which is a ton of fun. I’m also a Resident Assistant in the freshman girls’ dorm. It’s definitely interesting living on a hall with over 20 freshman girls, but it’s also super rewarding. I serve on the best RA staff ever. The other 11 people that I serve with in this building are incredible women of God that I absolutely adore. Being an RA takes up a lot of my life, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I have an amazing group of friends. I have a best friend, Jessica. We’re basically the same person. She’s the one I laugh with for an hour straight about absolutely nothing at all. But, she’s also the one that I stay up until 2am with talking about life. One of my other closest friends is Kelly. She inspires and challenges me everyday. (Her blog is awesome…you should check it out!) There’s “the family”, which is made up of… Jessica, Tiffany, Kristi, Desiree, Kelli, Ryan, Trevor, Chris, Kyle, Josh, and me. We have a lot of fun together. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful friends that I have :)
I have the best family anyone could ever ask for. I have parents that have been married for 25 years, who support me in everything that I do. They have been beautiful examples of Christ in my life and I am so thankful for that. I have one younger brother, Jackson, who is one of my heroes. He’s 17 and a senior in high school. He’s also been deaf since he was 1 year old. He’s never let that stop him :)
Well…that’s all I can think of right now. I guess we’ll see how this blog thing goes…

  1. I love this already. And I love my best fiend. Especially the fact that we stay up until 2 in the morning when I have the giggles. I love you Gus!
